The ST1PS01 / ST1PS02 / ST1PS03 devices from STMicroelectronics are a family of nano-quiescent miniaturized synchronous step-down converters. The devices are able to provide up to 400 mA output current with an input voltage ranging from 1.8 V to 5.5 V. This converter series has been specifically designed for applications where high efficiency, PCB size and thickness are critical factors such as battery-powered and energy-harvesting applications, as it ensures a highly efficient conversion regardless of the power source.
The ST1PS01 / ST1PS02 / ST1PS03 miniaturized step-down regulators draw a quiescent current of just 500 nA, this new generation of buck converters requires a minimal set of external components thanks to the integrated power switch, synchronous rectifier, and integrated compensation network.
See below overview of the ST1PS01 / ST1PS02 / ST1PS03 devices:
ST1PS01 – Featuring an output voltage that can be set using two digital control inputs, a VOUT from 0.625 V to 3.3 V can be dynamically selected.

ST1PS02 – With an output voltage that can be set using three digital control inputs, a VOUT from 1.0 V to 3.3 V can be dynamically selected. The device embeds a controlled load switch to supply a subsystem with same voltage rail. Advanced design circuitry is implemented to minimize the quiescent current.

Industrial and embedded applications are required to operate under increasingly more stringent conditions, deployed with tighter constraints on space and budgets, and under harsher environments. To meet these demands, Harwin have announced an expansion of the popular Kontrol range of industrial board-to-board interconnects (BBi), by adding single row connectors and cables to the 1.27mm pitch (0.05") connectors. The expansion of the range has been designed to bridge the gap between high-end connectors and established pin header and socket solutions.
