The EZPV Series from Panasonic delivers a highly versatile solution for DC Link and DC Filtering applications, offering a broad capacitance range and multiple operating voltage options. Engineered for safety, reliability, and long operational life, these capacitors are optimised for demanding industrial and infrastructure environments.
The EZPV Series utilises metallised polypropylene film with a proprietary patterned construction that integrates a self-protecting fuse function.
EZPV Series fuse function and safety mechanism
In the event of a localised dielectric breakdown, this mechanism isolates the affected section of the film, preventing fault propagation and eliminating the risk of catastrophic failure. While activation of the fuse function results in a minor reduction in overall capacitance, the component continues to operate safely without compromising system integrity.
EZPV Series Overview
The EZPV Series of Plastic Film capacitors are available in five voltages, 600V DC, 700V DC, 800V DC, 1000V DC and 1100V DC and a capacitance range from 3 µF to 110 µF (depending on voltage range). The film capacitors are offered in a compact, flame retardant, through hole housing with option of 2 pin or 4 pin packages.
Package Style and Markings
The EZPV Series has been design for industrial and infrastructure applications that demand safety, long life and high reliability. Featuring low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance), the EZPV Series ensures efficient thermal management and high ripple current capability, making it ideal for power electronics applications requiring robust and reliable performance under harsh conditions. The EZPV Series capacitors can handle RMS currents up to 29.3A @70°C (depending on voltage/value), operating temperature range is specified from -40°C to +105°C and automotive grade parts are compliant to AEC-Q200.
The EZPV Series film capacitors from Panasonic are suitable for a range of applications, including DC Links and DC Filters, Renewable Energy, Power Supplies, Appliances, Chargers, AC/DC & DC/DC Converters, Automotive and other Industrial and Infrastructure equipment which requires safe, robust, reliable and long-life operation.
The EZPV Series film capacitors deliver long life, high reliability, and enhanced safety, supporting mission-critical systems where failure is not an option.

The HIROSE BM54 series floating board‑to‑board connector is designed to absorb real‑world tolerances without sacrificing density.
As embedded systems continue to evolve, designers are increasingly challenged to deliver higher performance, stronger security, and longer battery life within increasingly compact products. Whether developing industrial sensors, smart building controls, healthcare devices, or connected IoT endpoints, selecting the right microcontroller is critical to achieving design goals. The latest STM32U3 microcontroller families from STMicroelectronics have been developed to address these challenges, combining modern processing capability with an energy-conscious architecture.
In today’s fast moving electronics world, robust circuit protection is essential for ensuring long-term reliability and safety. Taiwan Semiconductor’s latest snapback (Super Clamp) TVS technology incorporated into the LTD7S24CAH device marks a significant step forward in protecting sensitive circuits from transient voltage events.
STMicroelectronics have introduced the L6986I device, a high-performance synchronous buck converter that is designed for use in applications that require isolated power conversion.
HARTING has launched the new D-Sub PushPull housings. Designed to improve efficient and process-safe handling, the HARTING D-Sub PushPull transforms a well-known connector family into a simplified solution. The PushPull locking mechanism significantly improves the assembly process and reduces installation and maintenance time by up to 50%.
In the world of connected devices, one truth stands firm: even the smartest technology fails if it can’t survive the environment it’s built for. Rain, dust, vibration, UV—these forces don’t care how elegant your circuitry is. They’re relentless. That’s why CamdenBoss created Node & Hub: a new family of enclosures engineered not just to protect electronics, but to make every installation faster, cleaner, and smarter.
