Leveraging KOA’s years of manufacturing and process know-how, a special trimming profile is used for the SG73P series allowing these parts to withstand almost 10x the pulse power of a similar sized standard resistor. For example, the 1206 version can withstand a single 10us pulse of almost 300W, compared to 40W for a similar sized standard part.
The SG73P series is available in case sizes from 0402 to 1210, with power ratings from 0.125W to 1.5W giving you flexibility in thermal management and layout optimisation. With a broad resistance range from 10Ω to 10MΩ and tight tolerance options of ±0.5%, ±1%, ±2%, and ±5%, the SG73P series offers stable T.C.R of ±100ppm or ±200ppm, ensuring minimal drift across temperature variations.
Tested to AEC-Q200 standards, the SG73P series is qualified for automotive applications, but its reliability makes it equally suitable for industrial, medical, and professional audio systems. With an operating temperature range of -55°C to +155°C, these resistors are ready for the toughest design challenges.
