The Murata 5CCEG series of variable inductors deliver high reliability for demanding applications such as in automotive and industrial environments, these surface mount variable inductors are automotive grade, compliant to AEC-Q200, and offer robust performance in a compact housing.
Variable inductor products are coil products that allow the inductance to be easily varied within a defined range by changing the position of the ferrite core via a threaded structure. The variable inductors are housed in a metal case that is magnetically shielded, while a resin moulded internal structure protects the coil windings with a high degree of reliability.
The 5CCEG series are offered with inductance range from 0.05uH to 2.7uH with Q values from 54 to 72 @ 100 MHz. The variable inductors are magnetically shielded making them stable in operation and allowing them to be used on densely packed PCB’s without risk of causing interference to other nearby components.
The variable inductors have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and are supplied on tape and reel packaging compatible with automatic assembly equipment.
The Murata 5CCEG series of variable inductors are ideal for use as RF matching transformers in tuners and other similar applications.
