Wisbech, Monday, 10 June 2019 - Anglia Components today announced that it has received its fifth TDK European Distribution Award in 2018 in the local distribution category, an outstanding achievement over the six years in which the Awards have been presented. Anglia previously won awards in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017, giving it the best track record amongst TDK’s 18 local distributors in Europe.
Presenting the Silver Distribution Award in Munich, Dietmar Jaeger, head of the TDK's distribution business in Europe and General Manager of the Global Sales Distribution, said, "Our assessment of our distribution partners is rigorous and detailed, and winning even one award is a significant achievement. The fact that Anglia has now been recognised for outstanding business performance five times out of six demonstrates not only that they achieve very high standards, but also that they are able to maintain and improve on them consistently over many years. Congratulations to the Anglia team on a truly exceptional performance."
Commenting, John Bowman, Marketing Director, Anglia Components, said, "Anglia is proud of the high standards of service it achieves, and we believe that our performance sets us apart. We are continually investing in improving our service, and winning this, our fifth award from TDK provides a valuable independent endorsement of our success. We were proud to receive this award on behalf of the whole team at Anglia, and look forward to building an ever closer working relationship with TDK."
TDK’s annual assessment of distribution partners is based on its Senten Manten program, a Japanese term that stands for the perfect result that can be achieved with 1000 points. The programme assesses distributors’ performance and collaboration with TDK in four categories: business performance, inventory management, contractual terms and operational excellence.
