Binder introduce M12 K-Coded, Field Wire-Able Power Cable & Panel Mount Connectors

Binder have introduced a range of K-coded M12 male and female cable mount and pre-assembled panel mount connectors for power supply applications.

The 814 series M12 K-coding connector series from Binder are designed for use with AC power supplies, the range is available in male and female cable and panel mount options. Designed to meet the DIN IEC 61076-2-111 standard the connectors have 4+PE contacts and have rated voltage of 630V AC and 12A current ratings.

The M12 K-coded cable mount connectors are constructed using robust flame retardant PA material to UL94 V-0 and feature screw clamp termination which accepts wire gauges up to 2.5mm2 / 14 AWG and cable outlet diameters from 8 to 13mm. The connectors are rated for use over the temperature range -40°C to +85°C. The cable mount connectors offer IP67 degree of ingress protection in the mated state making them suitable for use in harsh environments.

The M12 K-coded panel mount connectors are constructed using robust die-cast nickel-plated Zinc and are prewired with 1.5mm2 / 16 AWG discrete wires, they are designed to fit a standard 15.3mm diameter panel cut-out. The panel mount connectors are rated for use over the temperature range -40°C to +85°C. The prewired panel mount connectors offer IP68 degree of ingress protection in the mated state making them suitable for use in harsh environments.

The connectors feature gold (AU) plated contacts giving excellent durability and can withstand >100 mating cycles.
