Khatod a leading manufacturer of Optical Solutions for the major LED manufacturers has introduced the SUPERLINEA family of lenses suitable for use with Mid Power LED’s.

Khatod are one of the only lens manufacturers who specifies and develops the entire product process 100% in-house. All the operations are performed on site at Khatod’s facility in Milan, Italy, including design, development of new technologies, production and post-production processes, testing and control, technical direction, management and administration. This allows Khatod to offer superb quality along with a deep technical understanding of the products and technology.

The SUPERLINEA lens family have been engineered specifically for Mid Power Linear LED strips. The lenses are made from optical grade PMMA which is suitable for -40° ~ 80°C operating temperature range. The lenses are available in 5 optical beams - 30°, 60°, 90°, 20° FWHM Asymmetrical and ±20° FWHM Asymmetrical.

The lenses have a Unified Glare Rating (UGR) and are made from the same material used to produce PLEXIGLAS^® Solar which guarantees it will show no yellowing for 10 years. The Lens are supplied in 40mm wide by 283mm lengths compatible with standard linear strip housings.

Khatod have also recently expanded the SUPERLINEA range with the addition of an IP sealed version. The new SUPERLINEA IP sealed lenses are specially designed for use with a silicone gasket that provides sealing to IPx5 standard, these lenses are ideal for use in outdoor and harsh environments

The SUPERLINEA family also offers a quick and convenient installation process and can also be used in continuous rows made from a limitless number of strips. The lenses are available in standard format compatible with various DIN profiles or in a simple Snap-In fixing format where the lenses can be affixed directly to a suitably configured metal base plate.

The lenses are ideal for use in narrow width luminaire designs, in architectural and decorative applications.
