LEDiL has announced the release of GERI, a 45 mm TIR lens providing very good color mixing quality with a narrow beam characteristics and a good candela center peak. GERI's mixing functionality is based on LEDiL's proprietary RZ-surface.

Very good color uniformity can be achieved with this micro-lens structure without an additional mixing chamber. This helps to achieve exceptional efficiency and a small overall system size.

GERI is designed to function with a range of multi-color LEDs whether RGBW or tunable white. Robust optical design of GERI lens produces uniform results even with a clusters of small LEDs introduced to the market from suppliers like Cree and Philips Lumileds.
