Taiwan Semiconductor has extended its series of High Voltage Schottky Barrier Rectifiers by adding two new parts (20 A & 30 A) with 200 V reverse voltage, both using Schottky Barrier Technology with a platinum barrier metal.
These new Schottky Diodes fit perfectly into Power Supply applications using secondary side output rectification, by offering improved Schottky performance at frequencies from 250 kHz to 5.0 MHz.
Typical applications are High Frequency switched mode power supplies, suitable for high power rating, DC output 24 V – 48 V.
These state of the art devices are also designed to be used in High Frequency Inverters, Freewheeling and Polarity Protection applications. An additional advantage is that they can easily replace Ultrafast Diodes and offer better dynamic characteristics.
