Taiwan Semiconductor introduces a new series of highly efficient SMD rectifier diodes

Date Published : 03/12/2012 Share with:

Housed in the compact D²Pak, the new GPAS100x range of high efficiency SMD rectifiers utilises a glass passivated chip to deliver high reliability, low power dissipation and a high current capability of 10A (max. permanent current). 7 different versions cover a voltage range from 50 to 1000 V.

Additional features of these compact rectifier diodes include a low forward voltage VF of 1.1 V at 10 A, a high surge current capability up to 150 A (8.3 ms half sine wave) and the qualification according to AEC-Q101 standard.

The GPAS100x rectifiers are most suitable for compact power supply applications in the medium power range.
