Panasonic has introduced the ECQUA series, a new X2 Safety Capacitor in a compact and high reliability design. The series offers a guaranteed moisture resistance of 85°C, 85%, 500 hours under loaded conditions. The ECQUA series is produced with polypropylene film and patterned metallization technology (100% Panasonic black box technology).
The special fuse function of the patterned metallization leads to a very stable capacitance level over the capacitor lifetime and thus guarantees high reliability. ECQUA is accredited in accordance with UL/CSA and European safety regulation class X2.
