KOE Europe announces the introduction of a new 8.0-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) Lite+ TFT display

 

The TX20D34VM2BAB has a specified brightness of up to 1000cd/m², a contrast ratio of 600:1 and features a 20-pin LVDS data interface. The TX20D34VM2BAB is the latest addition to KOE's Lite+ range which have been designed to offer cost effective display solutions that feature industry standard screen sizes, data interfaces and long-lifetime, high brightness backlights to ensure excellent optical performance.

The display features a 16:9 aspect ratio and has mechanical outline dimensions of 189.0mm (w) x 120.0mm (h) x 7.5mm (d). The TX20D34VM2BAB display module has a 6-bit RGB data interface which enables a colour palette of up to 262K colours.

For applications requiring higher brightness, the backlight brightness of the module can be increased from 600cd/m² to 1000cd/m² by increasing the supply current to the backlight. The LED backlight lifetime at 600cd/m² is 50K hours to half brightness, with brightness at 1000cd/m² backlight lifetime is 40K hours to half brightness.
